OVERVIEW

Creating a Seamless User Experience
for Global Expansion.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
An Indian manufacturing business needs to improve its wire supply chain by creating a user-centric website. The goal is to address pain points, provide a seamless experience, and increase quotations for international commerce.
CONSTRAINTS
A challenge of adapting the website to align with Indian business culture design standards, while working within existing technology infrastructure and delivering within allocated resources and timeline.

THE PROBLEM

As I delved deeper into the problem, I realized that this was not unique to just one website, but a widespread issue in the industry.

USER RESEARCH

Gaining insights from diverse users.

To understand the needs and pain points of potential users, I conducted five user interviews with individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries.

The participants included two engineers, a business owner, and engineer college students.
By leveraging my network and using multiple channels to reach out to potential participants, I was able to get a diverse group including Indian users.

To understand everything I found so far, and to define the needs of the users and the business, I analyzed the data to uncover the pain points and goals of both parties. From this research, I identified the following needs:

Leasons learned

Exploring UI design patterns across cultures deepened my design inspiration.
Tackling stakeholders' strong convictions challenged my diplomacy and adaptability.
Working with inclusive developers affirmed the effectiveness of the design system.
This project taught me the power of cross-cultural design and stakeholder management.
It enhanced my skills and fostered collaboration, empathy, and adaptability for impactful experiences.
